This seven-day sailing route from Trogir has a bit of everything: a mix of sailing, swim stops, city tours, and overnight stays in marinas, on buoys, and at anchor in peaceful bays. It’s the perfect itinerary for a stress-free vacation along Croatia’s stunning coast.
DAY 1: Trogir – Island Šolta, Maslinica
Your adventure begins in the historic town of Trogir. After completing the necessary paperwork and check-in, you’ll settle into your home for the next seven days. Set sail to the island of Šolta, specifically to Maslinica, which is only a one-and-a-half-hour journey from Trogir. The perfect spot to spend your first night is the Martinis Marchi Marina. Be sure to book your spot in advance, especially during the high season.
DAY 2: Island Šolta, Maslinica – Island Vis, Vis
After your first night onboard and a relaxing breakfast, you'll sail to the island of Vis. It's a popular destination, known for its rich history and stunning landscape. Arriving early allows you to enjoy various activities: a wine tour, a military tour by air-conditioned van, or an adventurous quad ride around the island to discover its military past. For those who prefer exploring on their own, scooters are available for rent. Don’t miss Stiniva beach or a visit to Komiža, a charming town on the other side of the island.
DAY 3: Island Vis, Vis – Island Lastovo, Zaklopatica
On day three, head toward Lastovo, a five-hour sail with no stops along the way, but the destination is worth it. Lastovo is part of a national park, and you’ll need to purchase a 40-euro ticket, valid for boats of all sizes, to stay overnight. Park rangers will come to issue the ticket. Lastovo is peaceful even during the high season, making it a perfect escape. After anchoring in Bay Sita, where you can swim in turquoise waters near an old military ship bunker, sail to Zaklopatica for the night. There are a few restaurants with their own moorings, so reservations in advance are recommended.
DAY 4: Island Lastovo, Zaklopatica – Island Korčula
After a morning swim, sail to Korčula, the southernmost island of your journey before you start heading back. Korčula is a beautiful, ancient town famous for its excellent cuisine and wines. On your way, a great lunch spot is Badija Island, where the water is shallow and crystal-clear. You can even visit and feed the friendly deer that live on the island.

DAY 5: Island Korčula, Korčula – Pakleni Islands, Vinogradišče
Depart from Korčula and sail toward the Pakleni Islands, stopping for a swim in the sheltered bay of Borova on the island of Šćedro. It’s a well-protected spot, ideal for dropping anchor with landlines. Upon arriving in Vinogradišče, catch a buoy (which should be reserved a few days in advance), and the marineros will help you secure your boat. Vinogradišče offers a variety of restaurants, or you can take a water taxi to Hvar for dinner and an evening stroll.
DAY 6: Pakleni Islands, Vinogradišče – Island Brač, Smrka
Your holiday is nearing its end, and for your final night away from the base marina, Smrka Bay is a fantastic choice. It's a well-protected bay with excellent anchoring options using landlines. Smrka also has an old military bunker for ships to explore. Keep in mind that cell signal is weak here, which gives you the perfect excuse to disconnect and fully enjoy your vacation.
DAY 7: Island Brač, Smrka – Trogir
After a last morning swim, sail back towards Trogir. On the way, refuel at one of the fuel stations in Milna, Rogač, or Baotić Trogir—Baotić is recommended due to shorter wait times. For one final swim, stop at Nečujam, where you can visit the sunken shipwreck. By 17:00, return to the marina in Trogir for check-out and spend your last night on the boat before disembarking the following morning.
